About us

Turnkey construction and development management on the Kenyan coast

Architect Darani Limited is a turnkey construction and real estate development management company based in Mombasa. Lead architectural direction comes from Abdulhamid Ali Darani, a BORAQS-registered architect with more than fifteen years of coastal practice. Quantity surveyors, engineers and site specialists on our projects bring further depth — typically twenty years or more of combined expertise on a single engagement.

We help landowners, developers and investors turn coastal sites into well-informed projects — from the first plot question through design, approvals, construction and handover.

We are tech-forward by design: dedicated software development, AI-assisted workflows, automation across estimating and documentation, and an ERP spine for costs and commercial records. That efficiency is what clients feel — faster answers, fewer gaps, and a single thread for each development.

Site work is grounded in GIS parcels, county planning reality, Kenya costbook rates and documented assumptions for Mombasa County.

Site intelligence

Feasibility, parcel context, zoning, climate and constraints — grounded in Mombasa cadastre and coastal planning reality.

Cost & commercial

Early cost plans, BOQs and commercial advice aligned to the Kenya costbook and professional fee scales used on Kenyan projects.

Design through delivery

Design coordination, county eDAMS submissions, procurement support and construction-stage administration — turnkey where you need one team.

One project thread

From first plot check to handover — documents, stages, payments and decisions tracked in one connected system.

How we deliver professionally

Statutory submissions follow Kenyan practice — BORAQS fee scales, county eDAMS workflows, and registered architects, quantity surveyors and engineers appointed on each project. Partner consultants hold BORAQS, EBK and KISM registrations as their disciplines require.

Digitized operations

ERP-backed finance, contracts, procurement and site records. Documentation and transactions are searchable, auditable and tied to each project.

AI & automation

In-house software development keeps improving REDM — agents, estimators, document pipelines and workflows that cut rework and response time.

Build-tech direction

We invest in IoT site monitoring, digital QA and construction robotics as part of a long-term roadmap — practical technology deployed on site.

Halal-aligned delivery

Where clients require it, we structure and coordinate developments that align with halal financing principles alongside conventional funding.

Our platform

REDM — Real Estate Development Management

REDM is our in-house development management system — built and extended by our own software team. It is how we run projects day to day and how you use our public tools: plot checks, feasibility wizards, construction and fee estimators, and the client portal once your project is live with us.

The parcel is the spine. Everything — site context, costs, documents, leads and stage transitions — links back to your plot so reports, estimates and follow-up stay consistent as the project matures.

  • Parcel lookup and site reports across 40,000+ Mombasa cadastre records
  • Encoded building-code and zoning logic for faster first-pass answers
  • Climate and constraints context tied to each site
  • Construction and professional-fee estimators with review-and-submit workflows
  • Multi-agent pipelines for reports, feasibility and document generation
  • Client capture, CRM and ERP integration for qualified projects
